(Online) Marketing Manager & Content Creation (Midlevel) (m/f/d)
● Strategic and operational planning, implementation and management of marketing measures across all relevant channels (online & offline: website, social media, email, OOH/DOOH, print if applicable) - with a focus on
● Development, planning and implementation of content formats (text, image, video) for websites, landing pages, social media and newsletters - including briefing, coordination and quality assurance in collaboration with creation and design.
● Conception, planning and coordination of out-of-home measures (e.g. city light posters, large areas, DOOH screens) as well as dovetailing with digital activities and campaign ideas.
● Use of GEO approaches (e.g. regional/local targeting, location-based communication, geo-specific messages) to strengthen campaigns in certain markets or cities.
● Planning, organization and support of events (e.g. customer events, readings, trade fairs, industry events) - from the idea to invitation communication to follow-up communication via the relevant channels.
● Support and further development of websites and landing pages (content, structure, briefings on design/dev, minor adjustments in CMS).
● Support with social media activities (e.g. editorial planning, topic identification, community-oriented content, coordination of assets with photo/video/design).
● Support with e-mail/newsletter marketing (conception, content, dispatch planning, simple automation, evaluation).
● Basic tracking and evaluation of your measures with common tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel) and derivation of comprehensible recommendations for action - without a deep focus on performance or bidding.
● Creation and maintenance of reports and preparation of results for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customer meetings, internal jour fixes).
Strategic and operational planning, implementation and control of
● Degree in marketing, business, communications, media or a comparable qualification.
● 3-5 years of professional experience in (online) marketing, ideally in an agency environment or in a comparable role with cross-channel responsibility (mid-level).
● Broad foundation in (online) marketing: You have practical experience in several areas such as social media, content creation, website/CRM, email marketing and basic campaign management.
● Strong interest and experience in content creation: you can translate topics into good content, write briefings, collaborate with creatives and assess quality.
● First experience in the planning or implementation of out-of-home or DOOH measures and desire to further expand this area.
● Basic understanding of GEO approaches (e.g. regional focus, local communication, location-based campaigns) and their use in brand and communication.
● Experience in using basic tracking and analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics, simple dashboards/reports) - you can read, categorize and make numbers understandable without getting deep into performance setups.
● Experience in setting up and maintaining reports (e.g. with Looker Studio, Google Data Studio, Excel).
● Strong understanding of brands, target groups and tonality and enjoy conceptual collaboration with creative and content teams.
● First experience in event management (planning, coordination with service providers, communication before, during and after the event) or high willingness to familiarize yourself with this field.
● Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility.
● Very good written and spoken German, good English skills are an advantage.
Nice-to-haves / additional requirements
● Experience with other awareness and communication channels such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest or newsletter/CRM tools.
● Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or simple web/newsletter editors to assist with minor customizations.
● Experience with A/B testing and content optimization (e.g. subject lines, visuals, landing pages, GEO variants).
● Certifications or further training in the field of online/content marketing or social media.
● Experience in working with media and OOH marketers and basic understanding of media plans.
● Knowledge of data protection (GDPR) and consent management in digital marketing.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● High degree of initiative and sense of responsibility.
● Innovative spirit and willingness to test new tools, formats, GEO approaches, content formats and trends in marketing and transform them into best practices.
